Thanks for the photos and information. Even with many hundreds of hours spent years ago in a butterfly conservatory and considered a quasi-staff member, I don't ever remember hearing (let alone seeing) of this condition.

This is fascinating! I had not heard of these gynandromorphs - makes sense (I guess) when I read the explanation. Thanks for sharing and educating.
