Oso Washington






At 10:45 AM on March 22nd, 2014 a land slide occurred just east of Oso, Washington. 47 people lost their lives and many were injured.
It was a devastating blow to this small community. On the day the highway through the area was reopened, there was a memorial walk through the slide area that my wife and I participated in.
Photographs can't do justice to the destruction that occurred on that March morning.

Excellent series of images documenting the disaster in OSO...haven't seen from the ground through your perspective only from the air.

We read about this in our newspapers and saw the devastation on tv in New Zealand. Terrible news. Thank you for sharing this
