Every reference seems to call it something different.
The latest seems to be :
Junonia zonalis was previously considered to be a ssp of Junonia evarete ( or a geographical population, as Junonia evarete from the Caribbean).
Now, it is considered to be a species based in a genetic analysis Cong et al. (2020) Systematic Entomology (2020), DOI: 10.1111/syen.12428. It is exactly the same population.
Junonia evarete is now a species considered to flight only in South America
