Of all the glorious people who are intombed there, many make you wonder about their amazing lives, yet ... for me, only one had me shed a tear ... or a few, Jean Moulin. To anyone outside France, he is probably an unknown ... but to France, he stands tall amongst the glorious. Jean Moulin was the person who organized and lead the French Resistance during the WW II occupation by the Nazi Gremany. He was eventually betrayed by a comrade of war and taken by the Nazis. He was tortured in the most horrific manners, yet, never betrayed a single brother of war in the French Resistance. His courage is beyond anything and contributed in a large measure to liberate France from the Nazis. Rest in peace Jean, your courage will forever be an example to future ... conflicts.
