Figure 17 wears a sun-hat and cloak over a short tunic. The stillness of his drapery and his seemingly reflective demeanour are in cotrast to his companion, whose cloak billows up behind him. Figure 16 appears to be reining his horse to a halt, and one forehoof touches the groundline.
