One of my favorite spots in the Berkshires is not a destination at all. On my trips from Stockbridge to
Gt. Barrington I have viewed this mystical scene near Ice Glen Road from Route 7 on snowy evenings
under the full moon, on days when the mist held over it, on fall days when the leaves have just begun
to turn and on summer days in full sun. It captures the essence of Berkshires' nature with its soft
undulating hills, the glint of water, the lush growth.
