Here is the farmer about to release Red into the chicken yard. What a beautiful sight it was to watch that rooster see all those clucking hens for the first time. He kept trying to jump into the chicken yard but the farmer held him until we could run and get our camera. In this picture, you can see some holes that the hens have dug in the dirt where they take dust baths and naps.
