It was suggested on oly forum that i check this out because i was talking about e500 on oly forum looking at these images remind me it is more the photographer than the camera.

tlau, Sometimes Pbase can misinterpret the data but I do use exposure compensation. Not to overcome an issue with the camera but my own personal preference. I have been using an 8080 for over a year and a half and I used the EV dial quite often. Maybe it is an old habbit I need to break with my new 10 day old camera. Thanks, dw

The EXIF indicates that for many photos -ve exposure compensations were used. Is it pbase misinterpreting data or was the compensations actually applied? Does it mean that the E-500 tend to overexpose? Thanks,

Thanks you Gary! All of these were handheld and I did use a circular polarizer on some of these shots. Sample5 was with the 40-150. Samples 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 and 7 are out of the camera with only slight cropping, resising and USM. The others had minor levels, colors and contrast adjustments. Only having the camera for 2 days now it is a real joy to use. Now the hard part comes. I need to read the manual and learn it's capabilities! I can't wait until you get one in your hands. David
