Brian cajoled me into a trip to Ghana in January 2008 to attend the Africa Nations Cup (CAN). Ghana's national team, the Black Stars were heavily favored to win and support throughout the country was visible and vocal, the colors of the country's flag were draped on people, houses, cars, everywhere.
