These fish were taken from a lough close to the one where the department of culture, arts and leisure has started stocking their ecological disasters. This is an example of what can be done in the same area, however these fish came from private water. For the department it is a numbers game, they want to be able to say that thousands of fish were caught. What about the anglers who want to play the quality game and are happy to take a few nice wild fish and not be part of an ecological disaster?
