Zanthoxylum kauaense. Distinctive leaflet arrangement with symmetrical lateral leaflets. Slender (young?) tree about 25-30m tall, trunk ca. 25cm diameter, with smooth tan or grey-brown bark that has flaky beige vertical ridges.
