Is this the dam of "Dam Trail" fame? This is one of the small taps that feed the Waikamoi ranch pipeline, located at the upper edge of the native forest on one of the small tributaries of Pi'ina'au Stream. Any flowing surface water at this point is collected into the pipeline unless the dam overflows - in the background a trickle is seen feeding the tiny reservoir.
