When I received the scope a year ago, one of the first things I tried
was to shoot M 45. That was when I first noticed a problem with
dim arcs of reflected light if there were bright stars in the
area. Starizona provided a solution in the form of an extended
central baffle. With that baffle installed, I wanted to see
what would happen when I pointed at M 45 again. This time,
there are odd, repeating round reflections (obvious below the
bright star left of center). It may be that the baffle only
changed one problem into another one.
