Alert

This was taken yesterday in Cades Cove while shooting with Breland, Gayle and Dick. The valley floor was covered in fog and the early morning sunlight poured over the eastern mountains to bathe the the day in some of the prettiest golden light I've seen. It was one of those days when you were glad the 5:30 alarm got you out of bed.

1/320s f/13.0 at 240.0mm iso500 with 1.7 TC attached. full exif

The golden glow of the early morning light filtering through the fog is spectacular. You not only captured a visual image but also the spirit and personality of Cades Cove at this moment of time. This should be in a book of magazine. VVV+++

Ive never seen anything like this picture. If you only ever had one day a year of taking photographs and this was the result of that one day. Then Id be happy all year.
