Canada Geese

I finally located some Canada Geese. Even with the warm weather I knew some had to be in the area, they always are in winter. Or maybe this cold snap drove them down in the last day or so. I found them yesterday in a large pond very close to the park boundary uphill from the valley floor.

They glow in the morning light. I love these birds although they can get pretty agressive when nesting.

Great catch!......these birds are so common here (sometimes in my backyard)that I seldom think to take a photo of them.....shame on me!

Nice job, Buz. We have an abundance of these guys. A couple of years ago, the state even allowed a two-day
lottery- drawn shoot to thin them out, or scare them off. We still have plenty, if you need some.
