Snow on Trail to Chimneys

I filled up a 2 gig card with snow and ice photos. The sky was so overcast and gray most of the images looked like B&Ws so I desaturated this one and fooled with curves to take it where it wanted to go. Yesterday's photo had only a slight bit of color in the lower left corner.
The park was almost deserted. Yes I was cold. Yes my hands burned. Yes I'd do it again.

Nice job, Buz. You're a trooper. I've never gone on this trail, but this footbridge may lure me there. Well done.

Great shot. I'm sure you enjoyed the solitude of the area. Well worth the pain and cold.
