The Oni is a mythical creature from Japanese folklore, sort of an ogre or troll type of creature, and Yoshi had that in mind as he created this marble. This is a very hard marble for me to let go of, because I love the extreme uniqueness of the colors, how they fade up the side, and it's just flat out a neat design. Add to that the tradition behind it and it becomes a VERY fascinating marble.
