This is a large blown glass focal bead that Leslie created using the Italian battuto technique. Leslie is a glass master living in Venice, Italy, incorporating all of the techniques she's learned from the Italian masters there over the past 30 years. Her hand carved battuto beads are AMAZING, with so much work going into the initial layered setup and hot glass work of the beads before the cold work begins after all that. These beads have a beautiful matte finish to them. A rare opportunity for one of Leselie's beautiful focal beads!
