This is a suuuper sweet piece that has a green tree frog hanging onto a bamboo twig, all encased in a clear glass tube. It has a loop on the top so this can function as an ornament and be hung somewhere if you want, or simply be displayed as a beautiful sculpture. The sculptural elements are VERY nicely done, and I wish I knew who made it because it's certainly a talented glass artist. The signature has the year 2003, and then something that looks like maybe J---iah or something like that, but I just can't tell for sure. Anyway, some great glass art for those who want a pet frog that will never die!
