Dave Strobel is one of THE original and most famous boro murrine and millie masters and has been creating great little murrine for many, many years since clear back in the 90's. He has done many different fish and sea life, lots of flowers and insects, as well as a whole host of various cartoon characters and other assorted millifiori. He is easily the most prolific millie murrine artist we have today in the boro world. Occasionally he will take a nice batch of those murrine and work them into super fun marbles, which is of course my favorite application for his work, woohooo! His most recent project has been the 'Day of the Dead Girls', his most complex and difficult murrine yet. He also loves to work glow glass into his creations when he can, a very difficult glass to work with and get it right, and he has pretty much mastered this application, which allows for lots of fun in the dark with your 'charged' Strobel marbles (black light works best for charging the glow glass, but regular light works well also). He is a talented flameworker and his glass art is a boon to the best of collections!
