This is another of Mark's famous animal skins, and these are ridiculously hard to come by! I haven't had one to sell in years, and this plains zebra pelt is a stunning work of art. There is gorgeous black and white detail in this one, an absolute wonder in the world of marbles, and a superior example. It is huge and flawless. Every collection needs an incredible animal skin in it, and this is a sweet one to have! Like all of Mark's skins, this one mimics a pelt which he photographed at the Smithsonian on a data gathering trip back in 1997, and it is true to form in all of its glorious detail. Astounding stuff in glass!! It was made in the prior millennium, an amazing piece of glass history, and is signed 'Matthews 1999'.
