Every serious contemporary art glass marble collector needs a cane like this in their collection! This cane essentially shows us how a marble is constructed using the furnace method, where a glass cane is made, and then marbles are rounded off the end of it one by one, often giving the artist several marbles per cane. This is a beautiful example of Jody Fine's work.
