This is a rare and super fun marble form Gateson, one of his new self collaborations where two of his concepts are featured on two halves of a marble. There are only a few of these out there at this point. The one half of this marble features a planet and moons set against a space backdrop, and this style was developed specifically for these collab marbles. Actually, the very first of this design is featured in a collaboration Gateson did with Rose Roads for the East Meets West Project, and then the collabs since then have been self-collabs like this one. The opposite side of the marble features another of Gateson's more recent designs, what he calls 'particle theory'. You'll want to study this glass with a magnifying glass or microscope, because it is FASCINATING!! This marble is signed 'GR x GR 2012' to represent that it is a self-collab.
