I love all of Douglas' alien eggs, but I particularly like the ones that have 'special' things going on in them, such as this egg which has other alien spores growing on it. Presumably, these spores are the ones that develop some of the smaller aliens, and act as parasites for a while, ingesting some of the main alien's DNA as they grow. Fascinating creatures, and a fascinating series of marbles!! Signed DMF 2004.
