Hailing from beautiful Massachusetts, Eric has been blowing glass in both soft and borosilicate since the year 2000. After working and apprenticing out of several different shops across the country, Eric eventually headed back home to New England for good in 2006. These days he only works with boro, making a wide variety of fun creations behind the torch. His creations can be whimsical and cute, but I was really drawn to the spacey pieces he made thanks to my love of all things space related. After seeing a new Deconstructed Space style of work he was doing, I asked if he might also be able to do that in spherical form, and so these 'marbles' are the result of that fun technical experiment. Each of these spacey gems has the planets on the outside of the piece, instead of inside as we typically see. They offer a uniquely 3D view of Eric's spacey realms and are a blast to hold and check out in hand! These marbles are everything I imagined and more, and I am proud to now offer them here at Glass ORBits!
