Rich is much more famous for his spinning metal tops that he and his company create, however, he did a run of BilletSpin Spheres, and this Superconductor sphere is one of the best of them all! It is made up of copper with 444 niobium rods running through it. It's an amazing material, highly conductive of course, and quite expensive. The spheres are made from rod stock, with each sphere being machined from the rod into a perfect sphere. It has some nice weight to it and is a fascinating material to have in spherical form. It's not glass of course, but if you love spheres as much as me, then you'll love having a unique item like this in the collection!
