Goldfinch

California, MD

This little bird was one of about ten or so that came to the feeder Sunday.
I've added a blue jay from the same time in the Widescreen Gallery.
Thanks to everyone who helped confirm this birds ID.

Here's a little more wintery picture of this little bird waiting for the
woodpecker to leave the feeder so she could get in:

I love these littly fussy finches. Beautifully captured. He's getting his spring colors. Which given the snow in the bg, just goes to show, that birds know when it's coming. V.
