This little guy, and I mean little, probably stretched out he might make one inch,
hopped across the trail to one of my favorite osprey shooting sites.
So I tried out my new Canon 500D close up attachment! And this is the result!
For those of you with an 80-400, you know what min focus distance is! The MAX focus distance with
this arrangement is I'm guessing about 12-18" This little guy couldn't have been more than
a foot away from my camera!

This shot was cropped about 5% to remove a unsightly leaf in the lower right corner,
otherwise this is a full frame shot!
