This pretty little lily was just above Glen Alpine Springs.
I went up to see Glen Alpine Falls then hiked above it for an
afternoon hike.
The wildflowers and the stream were the high points of the hike in
the pm. Lighting on the falls made it extremely difficult to get a good shot
given the dynamic range of the light.
The raod up to the trail head was a definite low point! Very rough, narrow twisting one
lane with dubious turnoffs.
Of the three falls in the South Tahoe area I'd definitely go Horsetail, Eagle then
Glen Alpine, just my opinion for what its worth.
