Queen Anne's Lace

NAS Patuxent River, MD

I went on to base yesterday in hopes of getting a nice sunset and some well
lit osprey shots. As I approached a couple ospreys were flying and I was real hopeful.
But as they say the best laid plans of mice and men.. The ospreys were too far out and
the haze layer sort of absrded the sun, so I took out the 105 and made lemonade ;o)

This small lacy flower was the home to a small spider, barely in focus on this shot.

And this mother Red Fox was very upset when I started to drive down the road when she
wanted to cross, she snarled at me for several minutes while I thought about changing
lenses, and when I did she was gone.

Wonderful shot, I like the DOF and color tone. Looking for the ospreys and finding beauty in a flower...nice story as well.

Nice shot, BJ. I've been trying to get a shot of the tiny little red flower in the center of the Queen Anne's Lace,
with no luck. It's just too small for me to get a decent shot from.
