A good friend's wife is on the board of a group trying to get the park service
to "rehab" this 27 acre park which now legaly is part of Rock Creek NP.
It was transferred to the Park Service in the 40s and has seen very little care,
hence it's become very overgrown with invasive non-native plants.
So Sunday we went and shot the park for documentation purposes
a week after Irene and one day after Lee.

Despite the obvious overgrowth the park still offered some inspirational panos
more to follow.
