This is the scene taken at 55mm, resized so that the sizes of the objects in the image closely match the sizes in the 18mm image.

I used an assortment of items--some rectangular, some circular--along with a little remote controlled car. The brick fireplace in the background is about 13 feet away. The white boxes in the foreground are about 1.5 feet away. The yellow "Kanji Dictionary" book is about 3 feet away.
