Stanley Kubrick's 1987 Vietnam War film ploughed a completely different furrow from "Apocalypse Now" - IMDB says: "a two-segment look at the effect of the military mindset and war itself on Vietnam era Marines. The first half follows a group of recruits in basic training under the command of the punishing Sgt. Hartman. The second half shows one of those recruits, Joker, covering the war as a correspondent for Stars and Stripes, focusing on the Tet offensive"

Sorry, this is a quick revisit to a Snowshill Manor pic taken a couple of weeks ago for an emergency evening such as tonight which sees my creative juices all dried up :o). I do like this though, it makes me titter - I don't think you could have a more full metal suit of armour than this!
