Evening Over Gairsay

Rendall, West Mainland, Orkney

A great belly of clouds catches the sunset off to the west as it overhangs Rousay and the small dome-like island of Gairsay as we look out across Gairsay Sound from Rendall

Very dramatic scene... it really looks as if the sky is falling.
