is worth a thousand words. photos of the kids on the starting line looking up to haile provide a perspective on what you don't see. some of the girls have shoes, some don't. i imagine the homes the kids come from are very different from eachother. some less off than others. its appearant from the pictures that what this community lacks in wealth, it makes up for in heart and hope. haile is their hope. and every kid on the line knows they can make a better future for themselves through running just like their idol has.
