Well this will be my only new gallery in 2010. The big workload continues so I still have little time for shooting and pBase.

Last spring we went to Yosemite and I got a few days of time barely exploring Ansel's playground. I got several snows along with that most amazing and so fast changing light. The big scenic views were overwhelming--maybe that's why my lens went more for the details on this short trip.

One night I made the short walk from the lodge to the Yosemite Lower Falls bridge and took along my flashlights. For some of these flashlight light painting shots, I re-shot subjects that I had photographed 3 days earlier in fresh snow. I have posted the pairs together so that the viewer can compare the very different light.

By the way most of these daytime images were shot in snow, rain and or mist so they are not the crisp sharp scenic images most expect to see of Yosemite.

So many shooters and the most gear I've ever seen. How many of us have made this pilgrimage? And for those who strive to create something different, you do the best we can. Best wishes to all for the holidays...Bill
