Chalk drawings made and used presumably by children for play time
were discovered only after some boarded up windows of a hayloft
were replaced. The added sunshine brought these images to light.
Drawings of pantry goods, a stove top and other kitchen and general store
items along with names cover a back wall and about half of a side wall.
The loft was used to store hay for many years prior to the current owner’s
purchase about twenty years ago. The date of the chalk drawings is unknown.
