Not to make light of the very cold days back home, but this day was the "coldest" day we've experienced in the four years we've come to Florida for February.
Morning temps were in the low- to mid-30s and the winds from the north that were really gusting!
I waited a few hours for it to warm to the high 40s but the winds did not relent.
This was the super cold day in the NE and the Siberian cold dipped into Florida.
There were times on this ride when I was going into the wind, I could not get my speed too much above 8-9 mph!
I was dressed in three light layers, knee warmers, and a pair of light gloves.
It probably hit 50 degrees by afternoon, but the strong winds never stopped on this day.
I know, PA and the NE had it way worse, but, again "cold" is relative.
