The Flower fields in Carlsbad near San Diego bloom during spring and is open for public from March until May. It is a spectacular display of color on the hillside slope. With treasure hunts, gem-mining and tractor rides, it is a fun family outing. This year iwe visited there on a damp cloudy day with the sun hidden behind the clouds all the time. With rain in forecast anytime, I basically ran hard up and down the hills to get my images. I still wish I had a break with the sun peeping through....... Anyway, may be next time.
