The sheen is a result of a combination of the flash on the water and I think the DOF. I have a plate on the bottom of the sink that is mult-coloured which when the water rippled and the light refracted created some nice patterns. I did some cropping in Photoshop, adjusted the brightness/contrast, and added some noise, but that is all.

Very well done. The foreground is a very nice contrast to the sharpness of the drops. Must try this.

Is this just water? Is the silvery sheen on the surface the result of the container, the flash, or some Photoshop magic -- or something else?
