There's a secret Kathodaw pagoda, according to a friendly local we met. It's about a block behind the one that the tourists visit. We
followed their directions and sure enough, there it was. It doesn't have a stupa, but it has caves with the books inside. It's older
and not as polished, but we were the only non-locals there. How do the two sites relate? I'm not sure.
