I used a photos from a 2000 cruise, scaned material on the dress worn in the photo for background (loved the texture it produced) used various blending modes and masks plus some eraser tool. Copied map of Alaska from on line and used Painters pens to write Alaska 2000 and then used blending modes. I was overall pleased with the collage. I perhaps would when braver painted more on layers and finished collage. ....Maybe next time......
