Gavrilo Princip's prison cell in Terezín Fortress.
The text on the wall explains the historical context of his imprisonment
following the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand.
The assassination in June 1914 led to the First World War.
After the assassination in Sarajevo, six of the participants were transferred
to Terezín and imprisoned in the Little Fortress. Four of them,
including Gavrilo Princip, died due to the harsh conditions in prison.
