The National Cemetery contains the remains of approximately 10,000 victims
of the camp and the associated Richard camps. Approximately 2,386 of them
lie in individual graves, recognizable by the uniform stone slabs in the lawns,
as shown in the photo. The memorial serves as an important place to commemorate
the victims of the Holocaust and World War II.
