The image shows three coats of arms on a building, likely in Prague. Coats of arms are
heraldic visual designs used to symbolically represent a person, family, organization, state,
or country. Originally used throughout Europe in the 12th century to identify soldiers on
the battlefield, they gradually became a status symbol as well. The top shield depicts a
black eagle with a crown on a gold background, which may be the coat of arms of Silesia or
a similar symbol. The left shield depicts three towers on a gold background, which may be the
coat of arms of the city of Prague. The right shield depicts a white lion with a double tail
on a brown or red background, the traditional symbol of Bohemia, which is the main symbol
of the Czech Republic.
