This is the House at the Minute (Dům U minuty) in Prague. The building is a typical
example of Czech Renaissance architecture and is known for its remarkable façade.
The façade is decorated with detailed black-and-white sgraffito work, dating from 1610.
The drawings depict biblical and allegorical scenes, as well as contemporary Renaissance
legends. The famous writer Franz Kafka lived here as a child from 1889 to 1896.
The house is located on the corner of Old Town Square and is part of the
Old Town Hall complex.
