This is the statue of Václav Budovec z Budova, located on the facade of a historic building
in Prague. The house, Palác Budovců z Budova, is named after one of its former owners,
Václav Budovec z Budova. Václav Budovec was executed in 1621 in the nearby Old Town Square,
along with 26 other nobles, after the Battle of White Mountain.
The iron statue, added in 1927, commemorates this historical figure.
There is also a plaque with an inscription describing his life and death in detail.
