This is a façade statue of the Madonna and Child in Antwerp. The statue depicts Mary with the
baby Jesus, sitting on a crescent moon, with a serpent at her feet. It is a well-known example of
religious street art often found in Antwerp. The text "SNO ESSE MATREM" can be seen at the base
of the statue. This particular statue is located on the corner of Eiermarkt and Kaasrui.
