This is a detail of "'t Visschers Huizeken" (The Fisherman's Cottage), a historic office building
with shops and residences in eclectic style in Antwerpen. The building was designed by architect
Michel De Braey in 1898.The architecture is richly decorated with gilded ornaments that allude to
the sea and fishing, in keeping with the house's name. The image shows details such as fish heads
as gargoyles on the balcony and a ship's bow forming the balcony parapet.In 2015-2016, the building
was restored into a residential complex with eight apartments.
