The only Amsterdam tram is the rail cleaner Rr3, built in 1958. On this tram is the billboard
adorned: Get the Enka sponge over it. This just to indicate how important the Enka factories were
for Arnhem at the time. The slogan for the then revolutionary viscose sponge was long ago by
Enka publicity manager C.C.S. Crone (1914-1951). Research has shown that this slogan was also used
for decades after his death. It was possible that this slogan is still on this originally
Amsterdam tram from 1958.
